Yash Dayal made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut on April 14, 2022. He represented Gujarat Titans against Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Yash Dayal landed his first IPL bid in 2022 as Gujarat Titans shelled INR 3.20 crore in the auction. He performed well in 2022 but had a forgettable 2023 season, with one over against Rinku Singh denting his confidence.
After that crushing over against Rinku Singh in the 2023 season, Gujarat released Yash Dayal ahead of the 2024 season. It looked like no team would sign him, but Royal Challengers Bengaluru handed him a deal worth INR 5.2 crore.
