The last edition of the 20-over event took place in the West Indies and the USA. Now the tournament will be back in the Asian subcontinent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current champions, India, will co-host the T20<\/a> World Cup 2026 along with Sri Lanka. Both countries will stage the thrilling competition in October and November 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was back in 2012 that Sri Lanka hosted the 20-over event, while India did so in 2016. India was also the host for the 2021 edition, but the tournament took place in the UAE and Oman due to the Covid-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
