Wasim Akram, who is a legendary fast bowler and former captain for Pakistan, has explained why he has no motivation to become a selector or the head coach of the men’s team for Pakistan. One of the greatest fast bowlers in history, Akram has never been Pakistan’s chief coach. While replying to a fan on The Dressing Room show of Ten Sports Pakistan, Akram said he has never arrived at the conclusion that he could accept a job of head coach or chief selector of the Pakistan men’s cricket team because he could not tolerate how his colleagues, among them Waqar Younis, had been treated in the times he was the head coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will tell you, a lot of times, on and off, there is criticism against me that I should tell him that he has to do something for the game, not just speaking. When I look at the coaches, some of them have been coached by Waqar (Younis) before; when I see the abuse taken by the coaches, I cannot tolerate that stuff,” Akram said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was the first bowler to take 500 wickets in ODIs; he wants to help the Pakistan cricket team for free whenever required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I want to help Pakistani cricket. Why do you want to pay me? I am available for free. Whenever you call me for a camp, I will come. When there’s any tournament for your team, I’ll be with them. “<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“But I am now 58 years old. I have a family, a ten-year-old daughter, and two sons. I want to spend time with them. However, I am always available for free to have the camp for boys whenever I can. I will go there, stay with the boys when cricket will be played for the Pakistan team. Like I said, I am ready to do it but I will not let this humiliation happen to me at this age. I am already humiliated because we are brash,” he added<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
