A historic victory at the 2025 Champions Trophy<\/a> has prompted the return of cricketers from India in various batches from Dubai. India defeated New Zealand in the final of the glamour event to become record third-time winners-most in the history of this tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Varun Chakaravarthy<\/a> and Ravindra Jadeja<\/a> were in Chennai late on Monday after having done a fine job for the team on its way to an unbeaten title run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jadeja took five wickets in as many matches, and in the title clash, he sealed India’s four-wicket win by hitting the winning boundary against New Zealand with one over to spare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, Chakaravarthy was a late replacement in the squad for injured Yashasvi Jaiswal<\/a>, and then he had to wait for additional two games before playing his first Champions Trophy <\/a>match with a bang, grabbing five wickets against New Zealand in India’s comfortable win in the final group match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was the second-highest wicket-taker for India in the competition alongside pace bowler Mohammed Shami<\/a> with nine wickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
