After the West Indies registered a historic Test win in Pakistan, their first-class cricket will be in focus. Cricket West Indies (CWI) will organise its premier first-class competition starting from January 29 in the Caribbean Islands.
As many as eight domestic teams will compete in the West Indies Championship 2025. The first-class tournament will see 28 matches played across seven rounds.
Defending champions Guyana Harpy Eagles will open the campaign by squaring off against Barbados Pride at the Providence Stadium. Each team will play seven first-class games, taking on the other seven teams once in the round-robin stage.
