Trent Boult’s IPL debut came in the 2015 season. His maiden IPL appearance came for the Sunrisers Hyderabad against Chennai Super Kings on April 11, 2015.
Boult had a decent outing on the field, taking one wicket while conceding 34 runs in four overs and affecting two run outs with direct throws.
He further played six more matches, adding eight wickets to his tally to end up with nine scalps in seven games.

Trent Boult Performance in IPL 2024
Trent Boult put up a respectable performance in IPL 2024 for Rajasthan Royals. He was among the top 20 wicket-takers in the previous season.
Boult featured in 15 innings and racked up 16 wickets at an average of 27.68. His best performance of the season came against Mumbai Indians, as he returned with the match-winning figures of three for 22 in four overs.

Trent Boult’s last appearance came in the IPL 2024 season. He represented Rajasthan Royals against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2 of the season.

Trent Boult IPL Earnings and Auction History
Trent Boult has represented five teams to date, starting with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2015. Hyderabad bought him in the 2015 auction for INR 3.80 crore and also retained him at the same price for the 2016 season.
SRH released Boult in 2017, after which he joined Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 5 crore but played only one season with them. In 2018, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) signed him for INR 2.20 crore and picked up 18 wickets.
The Kiwi pacer couldn’t replicate the same performance in 2019, which resulted in Delhi releasing him ahead of 2020. But then Boult went on to have a breakout season in 2020 with Mumbai Indians, who signed him for INR 3.20 crore.
After another season with Mumbai, he was back in the auction dynamics, with Rajasthan Royals putting in a winning bid for him. The Royals snapped up Boult for INR 8 crore.
