Mohammad Nabi is known for his consistency, leadership and match-winning performances. As an Afghanistan cricket veteran, Nabi has been part of the team’s growth over the last decade. Whether it’s ODIs or T20s, tournaments or qualifiers, Nabi brings calm and impact to the game.
Nabi has always stood out when playing against Hong Kong. Although Afghanistan and Hong Kong don’t play each other often, when they do—especially in pressure situations like the Asia Cup—Nabi comes good with both bat and ball.
From 2014 to 2018, Nabi’s stats against Hong Kong show a pattern of him stepping up when the team needs him.

Two years later, in the Asia Cup 2018, Nabi again played a big role. In a low-scoring ODI, he scored 38 and took 3 wickets to help Afghanistan win a group-stage game. These plays came at crucial times and showed why Nabi is one of Afghanistan’s go-to players.
