The Wait for another ICC event amongst the fans is going to get over as the ICC champions trophy is in line to get underway from the next Month.
The marquee event will have 8 teams including the cricket powerhouses like India, Australia,South Africa, England. The teams have already booked their flights and most of them have even gone on to reveal their squad for the tournament.
However amongst all teams Pakistan are yet to name their Final 15 for the marquee event.
In this article we are going to name 3 players who are going to be a dark horse for Pakistan in the champions trophy 2025.
1. Saim Ayub
The pocket size dynamite is one of the most promising batters in Pakistan. The elegant left hander is an aggressive top order batsman who is known for his eye pleasing stroke play. The Southpaw loves to play his shots from the first ball.
So far Saim Ayub has played 9 ODIs for Pakistan and has scored 515 runs at an average of 64.38. The left hander can be destructive once he gets set.
2. Kamran Ghulam
Kamran Ghulam is one of the most talked about batters in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. The Right hander has over 7000 runs in domestic cricket. He recently made his international debut for Pakistan in both Test and ODIs and scored centuries in both the formats.
He can be a dark horse for Pakistan in the upcoming ICC event looking at his potential and promise.
3. Abrar Ahmed
Abrar Ahmed has been making waves in international cricket since making his debut for Pakistan. Known for his variation and Mystery he can be a nightmare for the opposition on his days.
The leg spinner has already made his debut for Pakistan playing 10 tests,4 ODIs and 7 T 20s and has picked 46,10 and 9 wickets. In spite of being such a wonderful bowler he fails to feature in the playing 11 regularly for Pakistan.
If Pakistan uses this crafty Spinner wisely in the upcoming ICC event he can be a trump card for them.
