The salary of a cricket umpire depends on their level of umpiring which means whether they are umpires on an international level or domestic level. It varies for both the levels of umpiring.
Salary of International Umpires
The high level international umpires are reportedly known to earn between $80,000 to $200,000 on a yearly basis. Thus, in INR it is equivalent to 67.89 lakh to 1.70 crore annually. The fees for each type of match are different for these umpires. This upper figure mentioned-above includes all the salary figures for each match and other allowances an umpire gets.

Salary of Domestic Level Umpires
The domestic level umpires get a lesser amount of money if compared to the international level umpires. They earn salaries between $10,000 to $50,000 USD per year. The salary range of each umpire totally depends on their years of experience and in which country they are going to as umpire.
In INR it is equivalent to Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 42.43 lakh which is apparently a decent amount of money. Along with this they also get other allowances like travel and accommodation when they visit other countries for different matches.

What Does an IPL Umpire Get as Salary?
During Indian Premier League umpires also earn a decent amount of money. There are two different umpires who are hired for an IPL match, they are elite umpires and developmental umpires.
Salary of Elite Umpires
The elite umpires are part of the ICC Elite Panel and they are amongst the top umpires in the world.
