Early Debut in IPL Career
As mentioned above, Jake Fraser-McGurk had a rocking start to his IPL career. The Australian batter made his IPL debut on April 12, 2024.
Fraser-McGurk turned up for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He batted at No. 3 and kicked off his career with a six. He then accumulated 55 runs off 35 balls to help DC chase 168 runs.
The right-hander got his second fifty in his third match, but this time in just 15 balls. In the fifth match, Fraser-McGurk slammed 84 off 27 before hitting a fifty in 20 balls in his seventh outing.
Fraser-McGurk wrapped up his debut season with 330 runs off nine games at a strike rate of 234.04.

Fraser-McGurk’s last outing in IPL 2024 was in complete contrast to his first match. It was the return match against RR in Visakhapatnam on April 10, 2025. Fraser-McGurk opened the batting but got out on a two-ball duck.
