T. Natarajan is a late bloomer in T20 cricket, having made his debut in the format in 2017 at the age of 26. The same year, Kings XI Punjab brought him into the IPL.
A season later, Natarajan moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad and has been with them since. He has impressed everyone with his left-arm pace, especially his pin-point yorkers.
T Natarajan, the left-arm fast bowler from India and Tamil Nadu, was bought by Delhi Capitals (DC) for 10.75 crore in the IPL auction. The bidding began at 2 crore, with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) starting the bid. After missing out on Arshdeep Singh, SRH showed interest in Natarajan. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) also joined in, making it a tight race. DC, who have worked with Natarajan in the past, entered the bidding too. The price steadily climbed, with RCB pushing the bid to 7 crore, but DC eventually secured him with a winning bid of 10.75 crore.
