WCL- A twenty twenty format tournament that featured players from various nations, and took place in the United states. This league was a small duration tournament which started on July 3 and was concluded with its winning champion- “India Champions” on the 13th July 2024.
The tournament followed a round robin format where a total of six teams locked horns against one another in the Group matches. Later this, following the WCL Points table standings top four teams qualified for the Semi-Finals ultimately making it to the finale of the league on 13th July 2024.

The teams standings have been set up on the points table as per their performance in the group matches with their Wins, Loss, NRR and points on the table. Based on the points table standings and teams performances, the teams that qualified for the knockout stage are Pakistan Champions, India Champions, Australia Champions and West Indies Champions. Pakistan Champions and Australia champions have qualified to the knockout stages in the first go and were later joined by the India and West Indies for the knockout stage matches in the playoffs.
On Friday, 12th July ’24, the 5:00 PM 1st Semi-Final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) played between Pakistan Champions and West Indies Champions. Pakistan Champions won by 20 runs and enter in WCL Final
Later, the 2nd Semi-Final (D/N) featured 9:00 PM Australia Champions vs. India Champions. India Champions won by 86 runs

This twenty over format tournament took place at two different venues, first being the Edgbaston in Birmingham which hosted a total of first ten matches of the series while leaving the other 7 matches took place at the County Ground in Northampton including the semi-finals. The final of the season returned back to its inaugural ground, that is Birmingham, which was played on the 13th July at 10:30 PM IST. The Final match of the WCL took place between the Pakistan Champions and India Champions and India won the match by 5 wickets.
