1. Rohit Sharma – 209 vs Australia in 2013 (ODIs)
The very first time Rohit Sharma crossed the 200-run mark in an inning was an ODI game against Australia in November 2013. This is the match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It was a series-decide as both teams won two games each before this. India batted first in that game and posted a massive total of 383/6. Rohit scored his century off 114 balls and then accelerated.
He completed his next 100 runs off just 42 balls and completed his maiden ODI double hundred off 156 balls. It was only the third time that a batter scored an ODI double hundred in history. Rohit made 209 off 158 balls, with 12 fours and 16 sixes. Australia also tried hard but reached 326 runs and lost by 57 runs. Rohit won the Player of the Match award for his brilliant double hundred.

2. Rohit Sharma – 264 vs Sri Lanka in 2014 (ODIs)
The second double century for Rohit Sharma was also in the 50-over cricket, and this time he made it grand. Rohit became the first ever batter to cross the 250-run mark in an inning in ODIs and registered the highest individual score in the white-ball format. This was an ODI game at Eden Gardens against Sri Lanka in November 2014. This was a record-breaking match.
India batted first and posted a total of 404/5, courtesy of a splendid double century for Rohit. He scored a run-a-ball hundred, and his next 164 runs came off 73 balls. Rohit finished with 264 off 173 balls, with 33 fours and nine sixes. Rohit’s 33 fours are most by a batter in an inning. He broke many records in that inning. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 251 runs, and India won by 153 runs.

3. Rohit Sharma – 208* vs Sri Lanka in 2017 (ODIs)
The third double century for Rohit also came in ODIs for him. It came in December 2017 against Sri Lanka in Mohali. It was the second game of the three-match series. India batted first and posted 392/4 in 50 overs. Rohit took India to a big total after scoring his third ODI double hundred. He made 208 not out from 153 balls, including 13 fours and 12 sixes.
He became the first ever batter to register three double hundreds in this format. Rohit had three of the first seven ODI double centuries. Sri Lanka managed a score of 251/8 in their innings and lost that game by 141 runs. Fans are waiting for a fourth ODI double century for Rohit. But can he do it?

4. Rohit Sharma – 212 vs South Africa in 2019 (Tests)
The fourth double century for Rohit Sharma came in test cricket. It came in a test against South Africa in October 2019. This was the third and final match of the series, held in Ranchi. India batted first and declared their innings for 497/9 in 116.3 overs. Rohit scored 212 off 255 balls, with 28 fours and six sixes.
India bowled well and dismissed South Africa for 162 and 133 in two innings and won the game by an innings and 202 runs. Rohit won the Player of the Match award. He was also the leading scorer in the series and won the Player of the Series award as well. This is the first Test double century for Rohit, and there are many more to come.
