The Melbourne T10 Invitational 2025, organised by Cricket Victoria, started on April 7. It’s a first-of-its-kind T10 tournament featuring the academy teams of five BBL clubs.
Both Sydney-based teams won their opening fixtures on the first day. There are three more teams, two from Melbourne and one from Adelaide.
The five teams will lock horns against each other twice in the league stage over 10 days. They will tussle for the top three spots on the points table to enter the knockouts.

Melbourne T10 Invitational 2025: Points Table
Teams will get two points for each win in the league stage, while they will share points for a no-result. The net run rate can play a crucial role in deciding the knockout-bound teams in case of a tie.

Melbourne T10 Invitational 2025: Schedule and Match Results
With a double round-robin stage in place, teams will meet each other twice. A total of 20 matches will take place in the league stage, with two games per day. Melbourne’s Junction Oval will host the entirety of the tournament.

After the 20 games, the top three teams will advance to the knockouts. The top team will enter the finals straightaway, while the other two teams will square off in the eliminator.
The eliminator and the final of the Melbourne T10 Invitational 2025 will take place on April 17.
