The World Championship of Legends is a league of T20 matches. It features retired international cricketers from various countries that were approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board. The league began in 2024 and would be hosted by England’s Edbaston’s Stadium, Birmingham. The event would take place from July 3rd to July 13th.
The teams taking part in the league would consist of all the “ champions from countries like England, India and Australia. This championship gives fans an opportunity to watch cricket legends compete against one another again in a separate tournament.
Tournament Pattern
The tournament would consist of T20 Round-Robin matches, The top four teams of the tournament would advance into semi finals. The tournament would consist of 18 matches, providing cricket lovers with exciting performances by our legends world wide.

The tournament will take place in two different venues, namely Edgbaston Edgbaston Birmingham, which will host the first ten matches. The other seven matches will be held on the County Ground in Northampton, including the Semifinals. The final match would be held again in Birmingham, the inaugural ground of the World Championship of Legends.
