During the 2025 IPL, Hardik Pandya was in the news for his landmark 300th T20 match, against Punjab Kings, becoming the 15th Indian to achieve this distinction. It was also his 150th IPL game. Having won 198 of his 297 games, he boasts the highest winning percentage from an Indian standpoint – 66.4%. The percentages drop slightly to 63.3 for Suryakumar Yadav and 61.7 for Suresh Raina respectively.
Since his debut in 2016, Hardik has been a stronghold in India’s T20I setup, having also captained the team and securing the inaugural IPL title for Gujarat Titans in 2022. He is credited with having played a vital role in winning the 2024 T20 World Cup for India and remains a major asset for any side. At present, Hardik captains Mumbai Indians, a franchise he joined in 2015.
Hardik’s journey in T20 commenced a couple of years prior when he played for Baroda against Mumbai in 2013. In his T20 career, he has amassed 5,512 runs with 21 fifties at an average of 140 and claimed over 200 wickets. He looks forward to building on his success and leading the Mumbai Indians to their sixth IPL title.
