Security will be augmented in and around Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, ahead of the India-England cricket match-I e on Sunday, officials said. Besides, there will be beautification, sanitation, and fogging in the vicinity of the stadium by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation for the second one-dayer match, they added. A high-level meeting was here on Tuesday to review preparations for the match. Officials of the district administration, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), Odisha Olympic Association, police, and health departments and CMC were present at the meeting to finalize arrangements.
“The entry and exit of people will be regulated through four entry gates with personnel posted for security and sanitation,” said Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagmohan Meena.

The district health department will also deploy ambulances and medical teams on the match day for emergencies, in addition to having food safety officers monitoring hygiene standards at stalls.
The officials also added that in order to ease the flow of spectators, many bus services would be plying from the NETAJI Bus Terminus, Trishulia, and the railway station.
