The last game of the IPL 2025 is set to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. The issue was settled after some important meetings of the BCCI on May 20. The tournament had been stopped for a week due to tensions between India and Pakistan, while, ironically, the rescheduling of the final corresponded with rain forecast: originally slated for May 25 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, the final had to be shifted to June 3.
According to Cricbuzz, the BCCI has also finalized Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, for the two opening matches of the IPL 2025 playoffs. The league probably ends in the huge stadium of Ahmedabad, which in recent years has been a favored venue for major cricketing events. Ahmedabad shall also host Qualifier 2 on June 1.

The playoffs start in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, with Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator to be held respectively on May 29 and May 30. These venues, according to the BCCI, have been chosen in order to avoid any disturbances from the rainy season, to ensure that the playoffs and the final are held in the best possible conditions. If the final does take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, it will be the third occasion on which this stadium shall have hosted the Final.
