With the World Cup approaching all teams have announced their team squad for the T20 World Cup beginning on 2 June. ICC T20 World Cup is set to get ahead with a total of 20 nations participating from all over the world at the host countries USA and the Caribbean lands.
The tournament kicks off with a group stage featuring four groups, each consisting of five teams. During this round-robin phase, every team will face off against all others in their group once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage. Here, the eight qualifiers will be split into two groups of four. Once more, the top two teams from each group will earn spots in the highly anticipated semi-finals.
All teams are set to unleash their cricket battles and are seen ready with their fifteen-member squad to battle on the host lands.

Namibia for the consecutive third appearance in the World Cup has been placed in Group B where they are placed with the four other teams Oman, Scotland, Australia, and England. only two lucky teams from these will qualify for the Super Eight stage, where the teams would be again divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from these groups would qualify for the semi-finals.
Gerhard Erasmus- Nambia Team Captain
Merwe Gerhard Erasmus hails from Namibia and is a prominent figure in the national cricket team. He is known for his role as a middle-order batsman and as an all-rounder and is the current captain of the Nambian team and made his debut against Ghana in the year 2019 as a captain.
