Asalanka made his first-class cricket debut in the year 2015 which followed his debut in T20 on 25 th July 2021. Charith plays as a middle-order aggressive batsman who has been contributing to the team’s success. Apart from playing the middle order, Asalanka can bowl off-spin as well providing the team with a balance.
