1. Mashrafe Mortaza (Bangladesh) – 3 Ducks in Asia Cup 2016
At number 1 we have one of the legends of Bangladesh cricket Mashrafe Mortaza, a primary bowler and former captain, batted in all 5 matches in 2016, scoring just 14 runs at an average of 3.50. He had 3 ducks and didn’t make an impact with the bat. He wasn’t expected to score much but his repeated failures showed that Bangladesh’s lower order was weak at that time.
2 Asif Ali (Pakistan) – 2 Ducks in Asia Cup 2022
Next we have Pakistan’s designated finisher at one stage Asif Ali who has 2 ducks in Asia Cup. He’s known for hitting hard late in the innings, had a strike rate of 164.00 and a highest score of 41 but wasn’t consistent.
