In the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025, which has its name in some of the biggest T20 domestic leagues worldwide, the season expresses a lot of rivers in the water with the top female players of Australia along with international stars staging breathtaking encounters. It is the last big curtain-raiser before big global events, giving the players a stage to display their form.
The eight teams – Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder, Brisbane Heat, Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, Hobart Hurricanes, and Perth Scorchers – will play in a round-robin league format, where every win or loss may affect a team and NRR especially will determine which top four progress to the semi-finals.
The tournament is set to span the months of October and November in 2025, with the matches being played all over Australia. The WBBL 2025 points table will be kept up-to-date at all times to reflect the latest standings.
