1. Steve Smith (2011-2025*)

Australian legend, Steve Smith who once started his career as leg-spinner to be the next Shane Warne, has an impeccable record of scoring most tons for Sydney Sixers in pink jerseys. One of the modern day greats, in red ball cricket has revamped himself to be a run-machine in the shortest format at BBL. The right hand batsman has 3 triple-digit scores with his name cementing his legacy in the league.
He made his first 2 centuries, in 2022/23 season, first one came against Adelaide Strikers when he smashed a blistering knock of 101 from 56 balls. He scored his second century, against Thunders with an unbeaten knock of 125*.
Smith registered his last ton in BBL 2024-25, playing his first game of the season opener against mighty Scorchers. He played a crucial knock of 121 runs coming of 64 balls, with a strike-rate of 189.06.
2 Ben McDermott (2014-2025*)

Ben McDermott joined the elite list of most centuries in BBL along with Smith. Ben made 3 tons to his name while playing for Hobart Hurricanes amounted to his professional cricket growth.
His first ton came against Melbourne Renegades, scoring a match-winning knock of 114 runs from 52 balls to chase down 223 runs.
In season 2021-22, the keeper-batter scored two more knocks, with a short span of 2 days. Ben blasted 110 runs of 60 balls, against Strikers which enabled them to chase down 176, he followed a match winning- knock of 127 runs from 65 balls against Renegades, to contribute to Hurricanes’ 85 runs win.
3 Craig Simmons (2014-2015)

Craig holds the record of second most centuries in BBL. The tall-batter from New South Wales, has impressive record for both domestic and BBL seasons. Simmons showed his aggression with the willow in the limited opportunities he got for Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers.
Playing for Perth Scorchers in BBL 2013/14 season, he scored an impressive 102 runs of 41 balls, against Strikers to register a thrilling finish of 5 runs victory. He followed his impressive run in the 2nd Semi-final, where he scored an impressive 112 runs of 58 balls against Sixers to take his home to final.
4 Mitchel Owen (2021-2025*)

Owen has been a star performer in 2024-25, outperforming everyone. Hurricanes believed in the 23 year old to give him a regular spot, which shaped him as a batter to give his best in the league. He blasted 2 knocks in 2024/25 season, one of which came in the much-awaited final.
His first ton came against might Scorchers, which helped Hurricanes to chase down 156 runs. Own smashed an unbeaten 101 runs from 64 balls, consisted of 9 fours and 5 sixes. Hurricanes’ fans will cherish his second century for ages to come, when
he scored 108 of 42 balls that killed the hopes of Thunders in the first power-play and powered Hurricanes to clinch their maiden BBL trophy.
5 Luke Wright (2011-2018)

Luke Wright is the list of top 5, to record most number of centuries as an overseas player. Luke was the regular member of Melbourne Stars, for 7 seasons playing 57 matches.
Luke announced himself in the league with a ton in his first season, scoring a hundred from 44 balls in 2011-12 season. He waited for another 5 years to score his final ton in BBL history, scoring an impressive of unbeaten 109 to chase down 162, the English batter scored a match-winning knock to seal the victory for Stars against Renegades in the much-important Melbourne derby.
