After a convincing win over Australia in the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 match, India’s focus will now shift towards the pink-ball Test. Adelaide will stage the day-night second Test from December 6, 2024 onwards.
Before that, India will take on Australian Prime Minister XI in a two-day practice pink-ball match. The practice game will take place on November 30 and December 1 in Canberra.

This was the first Test of the BGT 2020/21. Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first.
India managed to score 244 runs before getting all out to Australia’s pace attack. Kohli was the top-scorer with a 74-run knock.
Then India’s bowlers, led by Ravichandran Ashwin’s four-wicket haul, wrapped up Australia for 191, taking a lead of 53 runs. By this point, India had the upper hand over the Aussies, but things went south quickly.

Australia dominated India in the second Test of the 2024-25 series at Adelaide Oval, winning by 10 wickets. India’s batting faltered, collapsing to 180 in the first innings and 175 in the second.
