10. Murali Vijay – 127 vs Rajasthan Royals in 2010
Former CSK opener Murali Vijay had a successful IPL career, and he played an important part in CSK’s success. Vijay registered one of the IPL highest scores for a batter. It came against Rajasthan Royals in 2010 at Chepauk Stadium. He smashed a 46-ball ton and made 127 off 56 balls, with 8 fours and 11 sixes at a strike rate of 226.78. CSK made a total of 246/5, and RR managed 223/5 in reply, losing by 23 runs.
9. Rishabh Pant – 128* vs Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018
Rishabh Pant has been part of Delhi Capitals since his debut in the IPL. He has played many match-winning knocks for them and has one hundred to his name. His only IPL ton came against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Batting first, Delhi made 187/5 largely because of a 56-ball century by Pant. He scored an unbeaten 128 off 63 balls, with 15 fours and seven sixes. The second-best score was 24 by Harshal Patel. It was a fantastic ton but unfortunately, Delhi couldn’t defend the target. 8. Chris Gayle – 128* vs Delhi Daredevils in 2012
Chris Gayle hit 6 IPL centuries, and some of them are part of the IPL highest score by a batter. One of his centuries came against Delhi Daredevils during the 2012 edition at Arun Jaitley Stadium. It was the 67th game of the tournament, and RCB posted a big total of 215/1 in the first inning. Gayle reached his century off 53 balls and made a 62-ball 128 not out, including seven fours and 13 sixes. His century powered RCB to a big total, and they won the game by 21 runs as Delhi replied with 194/9.
7. Shubman Gill – 129 vs Mumbai Indians in 2023
Shubman Gill is climbing up the ladder very quickly and has established himself as a run machine in the IPL. He has four IPL centuries so far, and his highest IPL score features on seventh on this list. It came against Mumbai Indians during the 2023 edition in Qualifier 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium. Batting first, GT made a massive score of 233/3, with Gill scoring a 49-ball century. He made 129 off 60 balls, with seven fours and ten sixes. It is also the IPL highest score in playoffs. GT bowled MI out for 171 and won by 62 runs.
6. AB de Villiers – 129* vs Gujarat Lions in 2016
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers hold the record for the highest IPL partnership ever. It came during the 2016 edition against Gujarat Lions at Chinnaswamy Stadium. During that game, De Villiers registered the 6th IPL highest score for a batter. RCB batted first and posted a massive score of 248/3. Virat and De Villiers added 229 runs for the second wicket. Virat made 109 off 55, while De Villiers scored an unbeaten 129 off 52 balls, with 10 fours and 12 sixes. He played shots all around the ground. In reply, Gujarat got all out for just 104 runs, and RCB won by a massive 144 runs. It is the second-highest win margin in the IPL.
5. KL Rahul – 132* vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2020
KL Rahul holds the record for the IPL highest score by an Indian. He registered it against his former IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in the 2020 edition. It was a game between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Dubai Cricket Stadium. Batting first, KXIP scored a total of 206/3, courtesy of a brilliant on by Rahul. He reached his hundred of 62 balls, which is one of the slowest IPL centuries. But he changed gears and scored an unbeaten 132 off 69 balls, with 14 fours and seven sixes. RCB only scored 109 runs and lost by 97 runs.

4. AB de Villiers – 133* vs Mumbai Indians in 2015
The pair of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers hold the record for the two biggest IPL partnerships. The second biggest IPL partnership came against Mumbai Indians in the 2015 season at Wankhede Stadium. In that game, De Villiers registered the fourth IPL highest score by a batter. Batting first, RCB made 235/1 with Virat and De Villiers adding 215 runs for the second wicket. Virat scored 82 off 50, while De Villiers scored 133* off 59 balls, with 19 fours and four sixes. MI also tried hard but reached only 196/7 and lost the game by 39 runs.
3. Quinton de Kock – 140* vs Kolkata Knight Riders in 2022
The IPL highest score by a batter from Lucknow Super Giants was registered by Quinton de Kock in 2022. It came when he and captain KL Rahul added the third-highest and highest opening stand in the IPL of 210. It was the 66th game against Kolkata Knight Riders at DY Patil Stadium. Batting first, LSG made 210 in the first inning. Rahul played a cautious knock of 68 off 51 while De Kock took on the bowling. The left-hander smashed an unbeaten 140 off 70 balls, with 10 fours and 10 sixes. It was a very tight match, and KKR also responded well, but they fell short by just two runs and made 208/8 runs.
2. Brendon McCullum – 158* vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2008

It was the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and it saw an incredible knock by Brendon McCullum, which set the tone for the IPL in the world. The IPL highest score by a batter is also the highest individual score in all T20 cricket. It was registered by Chris Gayle during the 2013 edition against Pune Warriors at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB batted first and posted the previous highest IPL score of 263/5. Chris Gayle registered the fastest IPL century in that game by 30 balls and reached 150 off 53 balls. He finished with 175 not out from 66 balls, with 13 fours and 17 sixes. No one has reached even close to him. Pune Warriors scored 133/9, and RCB won that game by 130 runs.
