1. PBKS – 204 Runs vs MI
Punjab Kings etched their name in history by chasing down the highest target ever in IPL playoffs; 204 runs against the Mumbai Indians. With Shreyas Iyer leading the charge with an unbeaten 87 off just 41 balls, the team managed to cross the line with five wickets to go in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2025. Iyer smashed five fours and eight sixes and remained calm under pressure to win the Player of the Match award and ensure their spot in the finals.
2. KKR – 200 Runs Against KXIP
Kolkata Knight Riders made their way to the list again, two years after their first IPL title, to show their class. Back in 2014, they chased the 200 runs set by the Kings XI Punjab to win the match by 3 wickets with just 3 balls to spare. Manish Pandey was the hero with a majestic 94 off 50 deliveries helping steer the chase despite the shaky start as Wriddhiman Saha 115* stood tall for KXIP.

3. KKR – 191 Runs vs CSK
KKR pulled off a massive chase in 2012 to lift the first IPL title against Chennai Super Kings. They were in charge of chasing 191 runs in the final at Chepauk and won by five wickets. Losing skipper Gambhir early, Manvinder Bisla took all the limelight by scoring 89 off 48 balls, with Jacques Kallis contributing 69 in getting the home side to 192 for five in 19.4 overs.

4. GT – 189 Runs vs RR
Gujarat Titans advanced into the 2022 IPL finals after a convincing seven-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens. They went after 189 runs, losing Wriddhiman Saha early. Still, by then, the trio of Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade, and Hardik Pandya had done their bit, and David Miller finished the job with 68 off 38 balls, hitting three sixes in the last over to seal the win.
5. CSK – 179 Runs vs SRH
Chennai Super Kings championed the IPL 2018 title with an easy chase of 179 runs against the SunRisers Hyderabad in 18.3 overs. Shane Watson was simply dominating with an unbeaten 117 off 57 balls, driving the game that had stumbled in the start. Earlier, the tight bowling from Lungi Ngidi and Shardul Thakur had limited SRH to 178 for 6, crowning CSK for the third time, and earning a swift victory for the fans.
