Gujarat Titans (GT) entered the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022 and straightaway won the title. They made it to another final in 2023 but fell short of winning the trophy for the second time.
The reason behind their instant success has been their solid batters. The franchise has invested in reliable batters, who have scored plenty of runs in the league.
Here we’ll list the top five batters with the most runs for Gujarat Titans in the IPL.
Most Runs for Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL History
5. Wriddhiman Saha | 824 Runs
Wriddhiman Saha, who retired from cricket in February 2025, was among the top performers with the bat for Gujarat. The wicketkeeper-batter opened along with Shubman Gill in his three years with the franchise.
Saha showed consistency in the first two seasons, with 300+ runs in 2022 and 2023. His form plunged in the 2024 season, which meant he was left out of the squad.
In all, Saha amassed 824 runs in 37 matches, including five fifties, with his highest score being 81.
4. Hardik Pandya | 833 Runs
The Titans’ former captain, Hardik Pandya, occupies the fourth spot. He was at the peak of his batting form in his two-season stint.
Pandya accumulated 833 runs across 31 matches while mostly batting in the middle order. The Baroda all-rounder even added six half-centuries to his tally.
Pandya’s performance in 2022 – 487 runs and eight wickets – propelled GT to their maiden IPL title.
3. David Miller | 950 Runs
After being the mainstay of Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) for eight seasons and two poor seasons with Rajasthan Royals (RR), David Miller moved to GT in 2022.
The South African had an instant impact that season with 481 runs in 16 matches. He played a crucial role in helping the Titans lift the trophy in their debut IPL season.
Miller stayed with the franchise for two more seasons, accumulating 950 runs in 41 matches. He also scored three fifties, which included his personal best score of an unbeaten 94.
2. B Sai Sudharsan | 1171 Runs
B Sai Sudharsan is the second-highest run-getter for the Titans in the IPL. The Tamil Nadu player has been a reliable batter for the franchise since 2023.
Although Sudharsan made his GT debut in 2022, he didn’t get a lot of opportunities. But he had a breakout season in 2023, which elevated his importance in GT’s batting lineup.
Sudharsan has turned up for GT in 26 matches with 1108 runs under his belt. He averages above 48 and strikes at 141+.
1. Shubman Gill | 1870 Runs
Shubman Gill is the top run-scorer for GT in IPL history. The current GT captain has amassed 1832 runs for the franchise. And he looks set to cross 2000 runs soon.
Gill has been an integral part of the Titans’ batting setup. He first paired up with Saha to provide good starts before teaming up with Sai Sudharsan.
Along with his run tally, the right-hand batter has scored four centuries and 10 fifties for the Titans. Three of those centuries came in 2023, which has been by far his best season in the IPL with 890 runs.
