There are quite a few cricketers as knowledgeable as Ravichandran Ashwin about the sport. He is the mastermind of cricket and has every trick to deceive batters.
Since his international debut in 2010, Ashwin has come a long way and stamped his authority as one of the greatest spinners in modern times. The Chennai off-spinner has also displayed his mettle in the IPL, first for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and a few more teams later on.
Ashwin is among the few off-spinners who have found success in the batter-dominated league, taking close to 200 wickets.
Here we’ll look at Ravichandran Ashwin’s IPL career stats, records, and salary in every season.

Want to know which team Ravichandran Ashwin will play for in IPL 2025?
Ravichandran Ashwin’s performance wasn’t of much note in the 2024 season. And that was perhaps the reason behind Rajasthan Royals not retaining him ahead of the 2025 mega auction.
Now that Ashwin is back in the auction dynamics, there are high chances that Chennai Super Kings may go after him. Ashwin has played for CSK in the past, and he would like to play for them once again, that too at his home ground.
