Champions One-Day Cup in the newly launched List A tournament in Pakistan that consists of some big superstars which will compete in this tournament. This inaugural season is scheduled to take place between September 12 and 29. The first season has a total of five teams, who will play a total of 14 matches.
This tournament will take place as a round-robin, then the playoff format. The top four teams will make it to the playoffs. Every team will play four matches each in the group stage. All these games will take place at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. Babar Azam, Shaheen Afirid, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Shan Masood, and many other big names will light up this tournament.
The first match was a thrilling contest between Markhos and Panthers, which Markhos won by a massive 160 runs. Now it is time for even more excitement. The second game will see a high-octane clash between Lions and Stallions, which will take place on September 13 (Friday) in Faisalabad.
