Scheduled to take place from 15th August the Maharaja Trophy has been started and will go on till 1 September. The trophy follows twenty twenty short format matches where a total of six teams will be seen participating in the tournament.
This is the third season of the series. The inaugural season was won by the Gulbarga Mystics and the next season was won by the Hubli Tigers who are also the current champions. This season would have another chance for all those teams who couldn’t make a trophy in their names to get on their first title of the season.

Organized and managed by the Karnataka State Cricket Association. A total of 6 teams are participating in the twelfth season of the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024. Performance of each team is noted down on the points table with their wins, losses, net run rate and points. The teams will go in head to head battles following a round robin format where teams will first play the league stage matches and then will move to the finals.

Following a round robin format the teams will first be involved in the 30 league stage matches and then based on their performance and standings on the points table the top four teams will play the semi finals of this 2024 season. Winner of semi final 1 and semi final 2 will go to the final battle of the 12th season scheduled to take place on 1 Sep 2024.
