The ninth edition of the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 is in full swing with eight teams:- India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan in action. Apart from the hosts and defending champions, Pakistan, players from every team have scored a hundred. At this point, teams such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, & England have been eliminated from the semis race.
These teams are yet to win a game after playing two matches each. The likes of India and New Zealand have made it to the semis. On the other hand, teams such as South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan are fighting for the two remaining semi final spots. The semi finals will be played in the second week of the next month.

Top 10 highest run getters in ICC Champions Trophy 2025
1. Ben Duckett

The England opening batter scored 165 against England, followed by 38 against Afghanistan on Wednesday. He is currently the highest run-getter in the tournament with 203 runs in two games although his team is yet to win a game.
2. Ibrahim Zadran

The Afghanistan opening batter overtook Duckett when he scored 177 runs against England on Wednesday. However, when the England batter scored 38 runs, he went above Zadran in the run-tally. Zadran’s innings
helped Afghanistan post 325/7 and win the game by eight runs. The right-hander, Zadran has 194 runs in two games to his name.
3. Joe Root

The 2019 World Cup winner scored a fifty against Australia, followed by a hundred against Afghanistan. He kept the team in the game with the bat in both games. The right-hander has scored 188 runs so far.

4. Tom Latham

The New Zealand Test captain started the tournament with a hundred against Pakistan, followed by a fifty against Bangladesh. The 2000 winners have won both their matches and Latham has scored 173 runs so far.
5. Shubman Gill

The newly-appointed vice-captain of India started the tournament with a hundred against Bangladesh, followed by a 46 against Pakistan. The two-time winners have won both their games with Gill scoring 147 so far.
6. Virat Kohli

The former India skipper didn’t start the tournament but was back among the runs against Pakistan with an unbeaten 100. He has scored 122 runs in the tournament so far.
7. Josh Inglis

Australia wicket-keeper batter scored his maiden ODI hundred against his arch-rivals England last week. He remained unbeaten on 120 in this only match he and his team has played so far.
8. Jaker Ali

The Bangladesh middle-order batter has stood up for his team that has struggled with the bat. Against India, he scored 68, followed by a 45 against New Zealand. Even though his team lost both games, Ali has been a shining light with 113 runs in the tournament.

9. Rachin Ravindra

The left-hander from New Zealand missed the first game against Pakistan due to injury but made a great comeback with 112 runs against Bangladesh.
10. Will Young

The opening batter from New Zealand scored a hundred against Pakistan, followed by a duck against Bangladesh. He has scored 107 runs so far.
