Namibia vs Assam 2025 ODI Series: Schedule, Teams, Venues & Captains

The big event for cricket lovers in 2025 will see Namibia playing host to Assam for a five-match ODI series. What a platform for some of the best young players from either side to showcase their talents. Assam will be under the captainship of Riyan Parag, who has been creating waves in the IPL and is now starting to establish himself on the Indian limited-overs scene. Accompanying him is a mixture of young talent and experience, including Denish Das, Akash Sengupta, and Parvej Musaraf, all backing their skipper.

On the other hand, Namibia will be led by Gerhard Erasmus. They feature some outstanding all-rounders, such as JJ Smit and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, who have demonstrated that they can compete at a high level, particularly when playing on home soil. This is going to prove to be quite a challenge for the Assamese boys. 

Series should be run at FNB Cricket Ground, Windhoek: per X user @Merovaeous. Prior to this, however, the Namibian team had gone up against Punjab and Karnataka in another series that offered them some crucial exposure on the field.
