Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most-watched and richest cricket leagues. Pakistan Super League (PSL) has also gained a fair amount of name due to great matches and great international talent. Sadly, due to political and security reasons, players from India and Pakistan cannot play in each other’s leagues; however, many international cricketers have played both IPL and PSL and some even scored fifties in both.
Here are the top 5 cricketers who have managed to score 50 runs or more in both leagues:
5. Chris Lynn
This Australian batsman is known for his power hitting. Lynn played for three franchises in IPL and scored 10 fifties in 42 innings. In PSL, he dazzled with the Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, hitting a superb century that began with a quick fifty, his first hundred in the league.
4. Sikandar Raza
The Zimbabwean all-rounder was a solid player in T20. He represented Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings in PSL with two fifties and played with Punjab Kings in IPL, getting a fifty against Lucknow Super Giants in 2023.
3. Shane Watson
Another Australian great, he was a significant difference-maker in T20 leagues. Watson played for three franchises in the IPL, making 21 fifties and 4 centuries. He played for 2 franchises in PSL and scored 9 fifties in 46 innings, proving his worth down the line.
2. Harry Brook
This young English star has shown his skills in both leagues. In IPL 2023, while representing Sunrisers Hyderabad, Brook had a memorable unbeaten match-winning performance against Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring an incredibly well-made 100 off just 55 balls from his milestone fifty. Prior to that, he made his mark for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2022 with a century against Islamabad United, showing that he can deliver under the blow of pressure.
1. David Warner
A household name in T20 cricket, the former Australian opener. Warner has been an all-star in the IPL, registering 62 fifties and 4 hundreds during his career, especially with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Surprising everyone by going unsold in IPL 2025, Warner made a confident entry into PSL with Karachi Kings by scoring 60 runs off 47 balls, proving that he is still the same.
