Shubman Gill launched his Test captaincy stint in the five-match Test series against England in June 2025. He keeps an exceptional record with more than 750 runs in the series. Even though he failed to break Sunil Gavaskar’s record of 774 runs, the Champions Trophy 2025 winner managed to stamp his authority on the opposition with the bat.
