The SA20 2025 will get underway on January 9, 2025, in South Africa. This is the third iteration of the T20 league, with six franchises fighting for the title.
The month-long SA20 has been a fan favorite thanks to the nail-biting games and energetic crowd turnout. So, you can expect another round of fierce competition in this edition, which runs till February 8, 2025.

SA20 2025: Points Table
Unlike other major T20 leagues, the SA20 awards four points to a team if they win a match.
If a match doesn’t produce any result, then both teams will receive two points each.
In addition to that, a team can get a bonus point provided they maintain a run rate of 1.25 times that of the opponent side in a match.

After the league stage ends on February 2, the playoffs will take centre stage from February 4 onwards. Qualifier 1 will see the top two teams face each other, while the Eliminator will pit the No. 3 side versus the No. 4 side.

The winner from Qualifier 1 will advance to the final, while the Eliminator winner will move into Qualifier 2, where they will square off against the Qualifier 1 loser. The season finale will then pit the winners of both Qualifiers against each other to crown the champion on February 8.
