Virat Kohli’s batting skills are second to none. He has scored plenty of runs for fun across different conditions.
And Kohli has enjoyed a stellar run in his favourite ODI format. He has racked up close to 14,000 runs in the 50-over format.

So how has he fared in the so-called mini-World Cup?
Here are Virat Kohli’s batting stats in the Champions Trophy, including his runs and highest scores.

Virat Kohli has featured in three Champions Trophy editions between 2009 and 2017. The 2025 iteration will be his fourth appearance in the 50-over event.
In his three editions thus far, the top-order batter accumulated 529 runs in 12 innings at an impressive average of 88.16. His run tally places him among the 11 batters with 500-plus runs in CT. And Kohli is only the fourth Indian to surpass that mark in the tournament’s history.
Among the teams he has played against in CT, Kohli has plundered the most runs against Pakistan. The right-hander has scored 124 runs against them, followed by 107 versus South Africa and 101 against the West Indies.
What’s interesting is that Kohli has smashed a fifty against five of the six sides he has batted against. He fell short of a half-century against England by just seven runs in the 2013 final.
But, thus far, Kohli has failed to convert his fifties into centuries. He hasn’t yet scored a hundred in the competition, with his highest score being an unbeaten 96.
