The ACC Women’s Asia Cup is a biennial tournament that features one day international and Twenty 20 Internationals. Organized by the Asian Cricket Council, the tournament’s first edition took place in 2004 and has been successfully organized every two years in a row. With the latest edition of ACC conducted in 2022, the women’s Asian team is all set to claim another title in their names while already having won 7 titles, the next tournament is scheduled for 2024.
The Asia Cup follows a round-robin and knockout format which will be organized between the 8 participating teams for the upcoming ninth edition of the cup in the year 2024. India is the current champion, having won the title seven times, and Bangladesh has won a single in the year 2018. Team India is also the most successful team in the tournament’s history. Indian players hold records for most runs, with Mithali Raj scoring 588, and most wickets, with Neetu David taking 26.

Women’s Asia Cup T20, 2024 Format
The women’s Asia Cup will be featured in the first group stages and then knockout matches would occur ultimately concluding in the finals. There is a total of eight teams participating this year in the 2024 T20 Asia Cup, where they are kept in two groups of 4 teams each.
Group Stage
The teams are divided into groups of two with four teams in each and the top two teams of each group qualify for the knockout stages where they will compete against one another in the semi-finals. Here in the group stage, the four teams will play against one another fighting to make it to the top two teams to qualify.
