They beat Cricket Australia’s state association side, Victoria in the final. The defending champions have qualified because of their last year’s performance. They lost the Eliminator of the BPL 2025 against Khulna Tigers.
Apart from Riders, Districts and Capitals, Big Bash League holders Hobart Hurricanes and Guyana Amazon Warriors, who are former Caribbean Premier League champions and hosts, have qualified for the tournament. Five teams will play each other in the single round-robin format. The top two teams will qualify for the final on July 19.
