Bangladesh may play a T20I series with Australia and Pakistan in February 2026. A BCB source told Cricfrenzy about this.
Tri-nation series are back in international cricket. Zimbabwe, New Zealand and South Africa recently played in one and fans loved it.
Cricfrenzy says Bangladesh will play Australia and Pakistan in a T20I series in February 2026. Australia is set to tour Pakistan for three T20I matches around that time. PCB and CA are thinking of adding Bangladesh to make it a tri-nation series.
This series will help teams prepare for the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. There is no official plan yet but they have had some talks. PCB wants Bangladesh because the two boards have good relations. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is in Bangladesh for the ACC Annual General Meeting on July 24-25. He will talk to BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul about the series.

If it happens, each team will play two matches against the others and then the top two teams will play in the final. There will be seven matches in total. CA always plans tours to the subcontinent before big ICC events. They played a T20I series with Bangladesh before the 2021 T20 World Cup and toured Sri Lanka before the 2025 Champions Trophy.
