“The Thalapathy “ Ravindra Jadeja of the Super Kings has now joined the Royals of Rajasthan ahead of the 2026 IPL. The Jadeja trade did not come as a surprise but as a shock to all the cricket fans around the world.
The super kings who are known to treat their players as a family traded Jadeja to Rajasthan Royals and took Sanju Samson who will now feature for CSK in the upcoming IPL season.
However CSK will now look to fill the void that has been created as the yellow army will look for players to replace Rockstar Jadeja who was a match winner in all 3 departments with the ball, bat and in the field.
But since it’s not a mega but a mini auction, CSK might not have many options in the market to get a perfect replacement for Jadeja. In this article we will look for 3 players who can replace Jadeja in CSK.
Tanush Kotian
One of the known names in the domestic circuit Tanush Kotian can be on the target of Super kings and can be a good replacement for Ravindra Jadeja . Super kings love to have a spinner who can bowl in the powerplay and Kotian can be a perfect man to do the job.

Kotian has a terrific economy of 6.39 in T20Is that is enough to show his skills in bowling in the Shortest format of the game . He has picked up 33. Wickets so far with an average of just over 20. He can also contribute with the bat in lower order but needs a lot of improvement in his batting.
George Linde
George Linde may be a hidden gem in the auction. Apart from being a left-arm pacer, he usually bowls stump line and is able to deliver accurate overs. Linde might not take many wickets, but his role as an economical bowler will count a lot.
Linde is also a powerful hitter who can easily handle pacers and will be able to change his batting position according to the need. His batting skills are better than Akeal’s, and he was already giving hints of his talent in SA20. So far, no teams seemed to be very interested in him, but CSK has the chance to buy a strong all-rounder.
Sanjay Yadav
The left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Sanjay Yadav was not sold during the IPL 2025 auctions. The 30-year-old cricketer was in the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad for 2022 but did not get a chance to play more than one match.
Sanjay Yadav participated in the TNPL 2025, representing the Trichy Grand Cholas. He amassed 196 runs in 8 innings, averaging 32.66 with two fifties. Having played in the TNPL, Sanjay will have the advantage of being familiar with the conditions, which could be an important factor.
He has so far scored 546 runs in 35 T20s and taken 21 wickets. Being a lefty batter and a left-arm spinner, he is could be a good option to seam Ravindra Jadeja out of the team.
