Good news for all the RCB fans: Rajat Patidar, the captain of RCB, is here with the team to finish out the rest of the IPL 2025. Another player back in the setup is the wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma. There were apprehensions that Patidar would have missed the crucial game against KKR because of his finger injury, but a recent RCB video has shown him hard at practice in the nets.
Captain 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐭 and his partner-in-crime 𝐉𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐡 are back at base, ready to light up the remainder of #IPL2025 with the same swag, same intent, and more fire! 🔥

Once Patidar joined up, he immediately started working on his batting, especially with that game against KKR coming up on just two days away at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Given that he was involved in practice sessions, it surely bodes well that he might play on the 17th of May. The other name showing up at the nets looked good too, as Jitesh looks to capitalise on the home advantage against the Knight Riders. Both looked confident and can substantially help RCB lock up a place in the IPL 2025 playoffs.
Though Patidar is famous for his entertaining batting style, this season hasn’t been good for him. He has scored 239 runs at an average of 23.90 and hence would be eager to step it up, more so with the possibility of Jacob Bethell being out of the line-up. RCB under the leadership of Patidar will clash against KKR on the 17th and six days later will take on SRH. The last group stage game will be held against LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
