Sudharsan, who reputed his talent in the IPL during a fantastic season, has been selected for the Indian Test squad against England. The 23-year-old spoke to the media after his side’s crushing loss against Mumbai Indians in the IPL and hence shared his views on switching formats, what he perceives as the target for himself at the moment within Team India, and also things he wants to work on.
From T20 to Test cricket, physically it is quite an adjustment, but it seems these last few months have been jam-packed with white-ball games, Sudharsan stated. It will take some time for me to settle into that basic red-ball style, but luckily, we have some time to work on it before the series starts.
With his mature approach to the game, Sudharsan is on the brink of realizing a dream shared by many cricketers: representing India in Test matches. He added, “It’s a dream for everyone to play for the country, and I’d love to do that.” As far as T20 is concerned, there’s a lot that I need to work on to get better.
