Brisbane Heat have made a good move by signing Shaheen Afridi for the upcoming BBL season. He was drafted high and will join the likes of Spencer Johnson, Xavier Bartlett and Nathan McSweeney. The Heat had the number one pick this year and got one of the best bowlers in the game.
At 25, Afridi will be around for the whole season which was a big reason why the Heat were interested in him. Pakistan has a break during the November-February period as there are no international matches so Afridi and other stars like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will be free to play in Australia.
