The Indian team is planning some changes for the final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
According to PTI, Anshul Kamboj who was nervous in his debut at Old Trafford might be replaced by Akash Deep who is fit now. There’s talk that Arshdeep Singh has recovered from his hand injury and might get a chance to play.
Despite coach Gautam Gambhir saying all pacers are fit after the draw in Manchester, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj might be rested since they’ve bowled a lot in this series. Bumrah had only planned to play 3 Tests but that might change with the series on the line. If not then Arshdeep might get back in.
The report says Kuldeep Yadav has a high chance of playing, might replace all-rounder Shardul Thakur. Thakur scored 41 runs in the first innings but didn’t take any wickets, bowled only 11 overs.

India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel had said earlier in the series that they are trying to get Kuldeep in the team but need more consistent runs from the top 6 batsmen to make it work. He said Kuldeep is a world class bowler and they are figuring out how to balance the team to include him, since they’ve been losing wickets in clumps.
We will have to wait and see if these changes happen but one thing is for sure Dhruv Jurel will replace Rishabh Pant. Pant is injured and out of the series so Jurel who was already keeping wickets will now do so full time. It will be interesting to see where he bats, especially with Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar doing well at 5 and 6 in Manchester.
