India recorded three giant hits over Pakistan in their ascension to winning the Asia Cup 2025. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side had earlier defeated the UAE, Pakistan and Oman in the league stage. India entered the Super stage with yet another victory against Pakistan. They chased 147 to seal their third successive win over the Men in Green in the final. India is now a nine-time Asia Cup champion team, having lifted the ODI Asia Cup seven times and the T20 Asia Cup twice.
After beating them thrice in two weeks, India will yet again face the Men in Green. Indian women’s cricket will lock horns with Pakistan in the sixth match of the Women’s ODI World Cup on Sunday (October 5). The fixture will be held at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from 3:00 PM IST.
Pakistan will refuse to travel to India and will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. And, if Pakistan manages to make it to the semi-finals, then the semi-final and final will also be played in Sri Lanka.

Beginning on 30th September!
It is India hosting Sri Lanka for the first match of the tournament starting off on September 30. Guwahati is the venue for this tournament. Pakistan plays its first match against Bangladesh on October 2.
Indian World Cup schedule
The Indian team led by Harmanpreet Kaur is to play South Africa on October 9 at Vizag following two matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. On October 12, for their next matches, they will have to face the holders, Australia.
Following on from these matches, the Women in Blue will play three more games against England, New Zealand, and Bangladesh on October 19, 23, and 26, respectively. The two semi-finals are scheduled for October 29 and 30, respectively. The final of the Women’s ODI World Cup will be held on November 2.
