The sixth edition of the Emerging Asia Cup, known as the 2024 ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup, is all set to commence in Oman. This edition will see a competition between eight teams, and it will be played in round-robin format. Two groups are divided into four teams each and top two teams from each group will make it through the semifinals. Teams to take part in the competitions are A teams of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
The remaining three teams to take part in this competition made their way through the 2024 ACC Men’s Premier Cup. This tournament will be organized under the supervision of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The real aim for this tournament is to promote the game and build pathways for the young and upcoming talents from Asian countries.
Pakistan A are the defending champions, who won the last edition, beating India A in the finals. The tournament will be played between October 18 and 27. There will be a total 15 games, and these matches will take place at Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amerat.

Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2024: Teams & Groups
Just like the last edition, 8 teams are taking part in the competition. The A teams of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. All the games will take place at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1). This is one of the newly launched cricket venues in Oman, which was inaugurated in 2012. This is the home venue for the Oman national cricket team. A total of 103 T20s have taken place here. It is a good scoring venue with better records for the team batting second.
