Organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the ICC Women T20 World cup will be hosted by Bangladesh. A total of 10 teams will be participating in this and the tournament will go on for 23 matches. ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 will follow a twenty twenty format where there will be 20 matches in the league stage and then will advance to the Playoff series which will have two semi-finals.
The new edition of the ICC Women T20 World Cup tournament is making a comeback for another season. 2024 is the ninth edition of the series which is scheduled to take place on the lands of Bangladesh from the 3rd to 20th October 2024. After a series of league stages and knockout stages, the tournament will advance to the last stage, the Final of the ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled to take place on the 20th October at 6:30 PM.
Due to political instability in Bangladesh, the venue for the upcoming ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 has shifted to whole new grounds. The new venue for the tournament would be the UAE lands. The tournament will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from October 3 to October 20.Each team will compete in four group matches during the tournament. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, which are scheduled for October 17 and 18, leading up to the Final in Dubai on October 20. A reserve day is set aside for both the semifinals and the final. In total, 23 matches will be held across two venues in Dubai and Sharjah.

ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024: Venue
The ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 was earlier scheduled to take place on the Bangladesh ground at 2 different locations, namely Mirpur and Sylhet. These two were the cities where the upcoming Women’s tour was likely to take place. But citing the ongoing home riots and protest the host country Bangladesh is facing political tensions therefore the tournament has now shifted to a whole new venue, that is UAE.
UAE will now the host of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be held across two venues: Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah and Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. The tournament kicks off on October 3rd with matches at both venues and continues with a series of group stage games, semi-finals, and the final, culminating on October 20th. Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host matches on October 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 18. Dubai International Cricket Stadium will feature games on October 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, and 20.
ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024: SEMI- FINAL
ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 semi finals are scheduled to take place on 17th and 18th October. Where the top four teams who will be sitting in the top four positions will get in the head to head battle in two semi finals. The teams for the semi finals of the tournament are yet to be released and not much is known and can be predicted as the tournament is yet to be started.
The semi-final fixtures for the tournament are scheduled as follows: On 17 October, the 1st Semi-Final will take place in Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 7:30 PM, featuring two teams yet to be confirmed. The action continues on 18 October with the 2nd Semi-Final scheduled on grounds of Sharjah Cricket Stadium, also at 7:30 PM, with the competing teams still to be announced.
ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 : FINAL
After a whole round hustling schedule of 20 league matches and 2 knockout stage matches, only 2 of the10 teams will become the finalist. These top two teams will play in the final clash which is scheduled for 20th October 2024 on the grounds of Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 7:30 PM.
