Mumbai Indians spotted the raw talent and took Jasprit Bumrah under their wing in 2013. They signed the young pacer for INR 10 lakhs.
But the next season, Bumrah’s salary jumped to INR 1.20 crore, which remained the same until 2017. Ahead of the 2018 auction, MI retained his services at INR 7 crore.
