The Group A matches of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are dead and buried as the two semi finalists have been decided last weekend. After India beat Pakistan and New Zealand beat Bangladesh, it was clear that the former champions, India and New Zealand will go through as they have beaten the defending champions, PAK and 2017 semi finalist, Bangladesh.
Both Bangladesh and Pakistan are yet to win a game and they are assured of going back after the end of this game. They would like a consolation win, more so Pakistan as they are the defending champions and hosts of the tournament. Bangladesh have played some good cricket in patches but Pakistan was completely outclassed in both matches.
