Before the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) introduced a fresh ‘three-star’ jersey. Their three IPL championship wins are honored by the three stars.
Seen using the new kit were KKR stars Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, Manish Pandey, Vaibhav Arora, Anukul Roy, Mayank Markande, and Luvnith Sisodia.
In the Official Jersey Launch Video from KKR, fans of the team can be observed enthralled with ‘Number 3’. Depicting the three championships in KKR’s Trophy closet, the video ends with ‘Three Stars’ being woven into the fabric of the new jersey.
Aside from the recently added third star above the team crest, KKR’s jersey has a distinctive Golden IPL insignia on the arm this year, added by the tournament to honor the defending champions of the 2025 edition.

As an homage to their triumphs in 2012, 2014, and 2024, three real stars in the sky have been catalogued and named after the team’s motivating team motto: ‘Korbo’, ‘Lorbo’, and ‘Jeetbo’.
Hoping to add a fourth star above their badge, KKR will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign at Eden Gardens on Saturday, March 22nd against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
